About The Role / Position Summary

Senior Institutional Portfolio Analyst is responsible for providing ongoing support of advisory relationships. The position requires the ability to work with internal parties such as Advisors, Research, Operations, and IT, as well as external parties such as investment managers, custodians, and client staff to meet the needs of the client and Advisor that services them. The responsibilities of this position include serving as a primary point of contact with clients, preparing materials for client meetings, conducting in-depth analysis on client portfolios to produce robust explanations of performance, monitoring client portfolios and proactively recommending potential solutions to Advisors, and interacting with all interested parties to provide an exceptional client experience. What You’ll Do / Position Responsibilities Client Relationship Support & Management

Support client relationships for the Advisor Team; participate in preparation sessions for client meetings; attend client meetings as appropriate.

Directly handle client activities as required – including, but not limited to, new client onboarding, client portfolio maintenance (e.g., adding/removing investment managers), portfolio rebalancing, assisting with client audits, and creating donor development pieces – with the guidance of the Advisor where appropriate.

Portfolio Analysis & Reporting

Prepare materials for client meetings – including, but not limited to, performance reports and executive summaries, attribution analysis, risk analysis, asset allocation studies, private capital pacing and liquidity analysis, spending policy analysis, investment manager searches and recommendations, and any other analytics to meet client needs.

Analyze client portfolios and generate tools for Advisors that facilitate the effective communication of client performance outcomes.

Monitor client portfolios for adherence to portfolio construction guidelines as determined by the FEG Investment Policy Committee; work with the Advisor, Research Team, and/or Portfolio Management Team to determine a plan of action to address violations of said guidelines.

Development of Investment Acumen

Develop a strong understanding of FEG investment philosophy and list of recommended investment strategies.

Collaborate with the Research Team on client-directed manager due diligence and other client-driven requests.

Attend investment manager meetings and weekly Research Team meetings.

What We Expect / Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.

2-5 years’ work experience in the investment industry or a similar field, preferably institutional-related.

Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance.

Experienced in Microsoft Office with strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high work ethic.

Exemplary skills in learning new technology and applying analytical skills.
