Location: Minneapolis, MN Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 – 4:00 PM CST, 5 days onsite Additional note: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM – 5 days onsite. Parking is paid for. Duration: About 3 months with potential extension; covering paternity leave (Feb 16th start, but want someone before that). Industry context: Very heavy on books and offering memorandums. Needs strong design experience and proficiency in Photoshop and InDesign. Commercial real estate background is a plus. Interview process: Hiring manager and worker will be on paternity leave. Onsite interviews; Tuesday and Wednesday are open next week, free after 9 on Thursday. Responsibilities
Plan, analyze and create visual solutions to communication problems Develop overall layout and production design of publications Create charts and graphs from data provided Create maps and diagrams highlighting area amenities Qualifications
Associate’s degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required. Bachelor’s degree in design or related field preferred 2-4 years experience required Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem solving ability Basic ability to utilize various forms of media, including print and electronic Basic ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design Previous experience using computers to create layouts and generate new images Experience with Adobe publishing and graphics software with emphasis on Adobe InDesign Background in commercial real estate design and marketing a plus Interviews will be conducted virtually via MS Teams.
