Overview

This Product Designer 3 role supports Nike’s Global Football Footwear Design team and will contribute directly to performance footwear design initiatives tied to the LA Olympics. The position is a contract opportunity covering a paternity leave and requires strong footwear design expertise, creativity, and advanced technical design skills. The ideal candidate brings deep product design experience within performance footwear, thrives in a collaborative environment, and demonstrates curiosity, innovation, and passion for high-performance athletic design. Responsibilities

Design and develop performance footwear concepts aligned with Global Football initiatives. Execute product design from concept through production in collaboration with cross-functional partners. Create detailed design presentations, technical packages, and product specifications. Utilize Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D design tools to develop innovative footwear concepts. Partner closely with development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure product feasibility. Contribute creative ideas and elevate team design thinking through curiosity and innovation. Support product creation tied to major global initiatives, including the LA Olympics. Required Skills

Excellent footwear knowledge with hands-on product design experience. Proven experience in performance footwear design using Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D design software. Strong creative mindset with curiosity, openness, and collaborative energy. Additional Requirements

3–4 years of professional footwear design experience. Strong concept development, sketching, and visual communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Onsite availability in Beaverton, OR (local candidates only). Education Requirements
