
CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

We're actively looking for a Construction Superintendent who manages daily on-site operations, ensuring projects are built safely, on time, and within budget by coordinating crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment, enforcing quality standards, and serving as the main link between the field, project managers, and stakeholders focusing on execution rather than contract finance. As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects, working closely with office and field management, subcontractors, and clients to ensure efficient execution, cost management, and quality control. Candidate must have 5 years experience as Superintendent for commercial and government construction. Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Wage: $36.48 to $50.00 (DOE) Benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (some benefits require a one-year vesting period) 401K Plan Social Security Benefit Workers' Compensation Temporary Disability Insurance Vacation Pay Key Responsibilities
Site Coordination: Oversee all on-site activities, managing daily workflows and temporary facilities. Team Management: Lead construction crews, assign tasks, and manage subcontractors. Schedule Management: Develop, monitor, and update project schedules and look-ahead plans. Safety & Quality: Enforce strict safety protocols (OSHA) and ensure work meets quality specifications and codes. Resource Management: Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor, managing site inventory and deliveries. Communication: Act as the primary contact, reporting progress and issues to project managers. Documentation: Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and field orders. Quality & Safety: Conduct quality checks, safety inspections, and proactively resolve field personnel issues. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and contribute to mitigation strategies. Contract Support: Support senior project managers with contract administration and change order management. Professional Representation: Always represent the company professionally, including proper attire and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Flexibility: Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support successful project delivery. Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering or Related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and Blue Beam or Adobe Acrobat Industry Knowledge: Understanding of construction contracts, OSHA safety regulations and permitting and adherence to safety rules and completion of company-specific safety orientation. Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Be able to work in a team environment and adhere to the company's core values of Accountability, Honesty, and Effective Communication. Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites Work Environment & Physical Demands
