Goldilocks Promos in Latham, NY is looking for a full-time graphic designer/office admin/laser engraver operator to help with their small business. We are a one stop shop for marketing needs including custom merch, promotional products, apparel, trade show signage, awards, and personalized gifts. Every day won’t be the same, as you could be packing and wrapping holiday gifts to quality checking thousands of t-shirts to designing social media posts. Quality is really important to us and what sets us apart, as well as our focus on graphic design.
The ideal candidate would have experience with graphic design, specifically using Adobe Illustrator.
Responsibilities
Create vendor-ready artwork, create proofs and vendor-ready output files for apparel or promo products, and run the laser engraver to produce awards, plaques, drinkware, and more.
Quality checking orders when they are complete for any misprints or errors.
Answering phones.
Help with marketing like social media posts.
Create client presentations.
Let clients know their order is complete via email or phone.
Heat pressing apparel with transfers.
Running the UV printer.
Assisting in the design and creation of self-promo products.
Possible pickup/deliveries of orders.
Ordering and maintaining supplies.
Requirements
Adobe Illustrator
Sense of humor
Lots of Creativity
All of the usual positive traits you would want in a colleague
Able to lift 50lbs
Schedule & Location Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, in person at our office in Latham/Albany.
Work Location: Latham/Albany
Compensation & Benefits Rate of compensation: $19-21/hr
