
Taking direction from the Graphic Design Manager, and working out of our Latham, NY office, this position will play a key role in our marketing department. We are recruiting a self-starter looking to gain valuable experience in the fast-growing PPE space who will play an integral part of our PPE sales. This position gives you the ability to contribute to the company’s daily production activities, you will design, and update company logos used to silkscreen or pad print key safety products. You will enhance your knowledge of the proofing process and pre-press logo work for logoed items, as well as working with the marketing and product management team to adapt logos to new products. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in a production-driven, fast-moving work environment and who is meticulous with a keen eye for detail. Job Responsibilities
Create proofs, prepare and recreate logo files for printing on garments, hard hats, and other items in PPE product portfolio
Maintain proof log
Support the design team in the creation of digital graphic content and marketing materials including flyers and brochures, following existing brand guidelines when needed
Photo post-processing and editing so photos are production ready
File organization
Core Skills/Competency Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field
1 - 2 years of proven graphic designing experience with a strong portfolio
Will consider recently graduated who can demonstrate a winning portfolio of work
Experience with design software and technologies (such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Acrobat)
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Exposure to multiple media formats
Highly detail oriented - acute focus and exactitude
Highly organized
Excellent communication skills
People friendly skills to work well with other teams
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
