Senior Business Development Specialist – Denver
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to grow Advanced Bionics partnerships within the assigned region.
Identify, build, and optimize relationships with Hearing Care Professionals (HCPs) to drive qualified lead generation and organic revenue growth.
Deliver targeted educational programs and value-added services to HCP clinics to support adoption and engagement.
Collaborate with Sonova sales, marketing, clinical, and product teams to bring new solutions and initiatives to market.
Plan and perform field-based sales activities, including clinic visits, events, and regional conferences.
Evaluate new market opportunities and support decision-making that advances regional and national growth strategies.
Use Salesforce to manage territory planning, track activities, and report on business development outcomes.
More about you / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Audiology or Business is a plus.
3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or the medical device industry OR 3+ years of clinical audiology experience (adult + pediatric), including cochlear implants.
Understanding of hearing healthcare trends, patient care workflows, and the broader hearing care market.
Sales and training experience, especially within Class III medical devices, is highly beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making, build strong partnerships, and secure mutually beneficial agreements.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, and clinical support.
Comfortable presenting publicly and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Highly self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently while managing a regional territory.
Proficiency with CRM or patient management systems and MS Office.
Willingness to travel 50% or more.
Technology & Connectivity A minimum of 200 Mb/sec download and 10 Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova.
