The primary location of this position may be either 100% remote or on the main Cullowhee, NC campus, depending on the successful applicant’s preferences. This is a nine-month, fixed-term faculty position in Marketing at the rank of Instructor, anticipated to begin August 1, 2026. Responsibilities

The successful candidate will: Teach undergraduate courses, delivering experiential and applied learning; teaching may be online and/or face-to-face. Normal teaching load: 24 semester hours per academic year (4 classes per semester). Engage in scholarly research leading to publication in quality journals, aligned with Boyer’s scholarship framework (discovery, integration, application, teaching and learning). Contribute to the development and growth of the Marketing program; participate in or develop a collaborative working environment. Engage in service activities and industry engagement as part of program mission. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Candidates must be team-oriented and willing to work in a highly energized and collaborative environment; must be committed to working with diverse student and community populations. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in marketing or a closely related business field from an appropriately accredited institution that satisfies credentialing under both AACSB and SACSCOC. Preferred Qualifications Preference given to candidates with marketing industry experience and university-level teaching experience. Position Details
