Overview
Job Title: Communications Lead–Employer Brand
Duration: 10+ Months Contract with Possible extension
Location: Hybrid Role in San Jose, CA
Hourly Pay Rate: $65.00/HR on W2
Role Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Communications Lead to join our Internal Communications and Engagement team on a contract basis.
This role is focused on enhancing our employer brand, crafting engaging creative content, and ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all platforms (social media, website, internal channels).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal communications,
experience with change management, a keen eye for visual storytelling, and a
deep understanding
of how to create impactful video and multimedia content that celebrates the people and culture of Client
You will serve as an individual contributor and will be based in San Jose, CA (going into the office 3 times per week).
Minimum Qualifications (Required Experience)
7+ years of internal communications or employee communications experience.
Experience with creative and engaging storytelling across a variety of channels, internal and external.
Project management experience leading communication strategies for large-scale, global programs and campaigns.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, your responsibilities include:
Strategy & Implementation:
Create and implement communication strategies (including writing, editing, and production) to enhance the employee/candidate experience and promote a positive company culture across multiple platforms including intranet, video, email, and newsletters (internal & external).
Storytelling & Campaigns:
Guide compelling storytelling efforts and campaigns to support global people program projects, ensuring consistency with Client's voice, tone, and brand.
Content Direction:
Explore creative methods to reach employees/candidates and direct content produced by others to maintain quality and messaging guidelines.
Program Leadership:
Lead our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) programs, ensuring that internal and candidate-facing communications reflect and promote our mission, vision, and culture.
Measurement & Advising:
Define and measure the success of internal communication strategies and campaigns, making necessary adjustments to increase employee engagement while serving as a trusted advisor to internal clients.
Brand Voice:
Capture the authentic voice of Client and shape the internal communications narrative while finding new and effective ways to communicate and engage with employees and candidates.
