Position Purpose
Under the direction of the Community Affairs Manager, the Multimedia Specialist will be responsible for creating digital content for the Neighborhood House Association’s (NHA) website and social media accounts and maintaining the agency’s social media presence by monitoring, updating, and responding to day-to-day social media messages and comments. The Multimedia Specialist will be required to travel to attend various agency events for photography and videography purposes. The Multimedia Specialist will also support the development of digital campaigns and initiatives.

Work with internal customers to identify and develop materials for internal and external communication, including product collateral, web content, promotions, signage and displays, advertising, photography, videos, and e-mail communications; Ensure that the agency’s branding and messaging is consistent in all materials published for external and internal communications; Monitor, maintain, and update NHA’s social media platforms for the purpose of growing the agency’s social media presence/following on social platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.; Develop monthly and weekly editorial calendars to streamline the publishing of social media and website content; Assist with online campaigns and marketing efforts across multiple channels to drive awareness and increase followers; Execute social media contests, sweepstakes, promotions, and partnerships; Provide content for marketing initiatives to include social media postings, event materials, website updates, newsletters, and e-blasts; Assist with editing and ensuring that all marketing and branding materials are error-free; Stay abreast of new online marketing trends and proactively recommend new programs, campaigns, or platforms to enhance and grow NHA’s digital/social media presence; Produce and complete photography, videography, and graphic design projects for internal and external use; Provide photography, videography, and graphic design support for agency events and initiatives; Edit images in a highly proficient and efficient manner, while maintaining image accuracy with uniformity; Maintain file organization and structure of photo database; Assist with digital, social execution, tactical planning, and measurement; Audit social media accounts and benchmark the agency’s social mediapresence; Other duties as assigned. Knowledge
Social media platforms and social media management tools; Creative software (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.); WordPress and/or other web design software/applications Ability

The incumbent must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions, primarily in English, from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public; and must have demonstrated skills in written and oral communication. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills are required. Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
