Our client is a global law firm and has been practicing for over 100 years. They seek an associate with 2 – 4 years of patent and/or trade secret litigation experience to join the Firm's Commercial Litigation practice group in either NYC, Washington DC, or Chicago. (Hybrid) Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a track record of technical analysis, and persuasive writing abilities. We are looking for candidates who can and want to assume immediate responsibility and who are willing to work on high-stakes cases as an integral part of a collaborative team. MAIN REQUIREMENTS: Admission to the DC, Illinois, or New York Bar is required, as is an undergraduate degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or substantially similar. Registration to practice before the USPTO is strongly preferred. An advanced science or technical degree, industry experience, and computer programming skills are pluses. To be considered, you must submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample. The salary range is $235,000 to $310,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
