This is a full-time hybrid role for a Bursar at Stetson University located in DeLand, FL, with some flexibility for remote work. The Bursar will oversee all aspects of student financial services, including managing the billing and collection processes, monitoring student accounts, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and providing exceptional support to students and families. The role also includes preparing financial reports, improving processes, and offering strategic insights to enhance financial systems. Adept communication and collaboration with various university departments will be key to success in this role. Qualifications
Expertise in Finance, Accounting, and Budgeting Proficient Analytical Skills for financial data interpretation and decision-making Experience with Student Financial Aid processes and compliance with related regulations Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams Proficiency in financial systems and tools; experience with student information systems is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) Prior experience in higher education or a similar setting is an advantage
