The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full-time Personnel Management Specialist, GG-0301-07 Target 12 to serve as a Civilian Personnel Specialist, for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (HNC), at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA)- Lackland, San Antonio, TX. Salary range: $51,201 – 118,072 based on experience. This is a developmental position - GG-7 target GG-12 This position may be filled at the GG-7/9/11/12 level. Attainment of knowledge, skills, and abilities is required before promotion to the next higher grade and is dependent on demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the next higher grade level, meeting all regulatory requirements, and recommendation for promotion by the supervisor. This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007. In the position, you will serve as a Civilian Personnel Specialist for Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (CCSD) providing senior leadership advice and guidance on civilian personnel programs and their subsequent administration throughout CCSD in support of nearly 900 government civilians. CCSD is a Geographically-Separated Unit and a tenant unit located at JBSA - Lackland. Responsibilities

Must be a U.S. Citizen Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance This position is designated by the Air Force as a testing designated position under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program and is subject to random drug testing Knowledge of Department of War (DoW), Joint, and Air Force military and civilian personnel management principles, concepts, and methodologies; and financial management directives, concepts, procedures, guidance, and policy; and a wide range of HR concepts, practices, laws, regulations, policies, and precedents governing HR functions. Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of DoW and Air Force organizations to provide military and civilian personnel management guidance. Knowledge of the major issues, program goals and objectives, work processes, and administrative operations of the organization. Skill in using various office automation software to support office operations and produce a variety of information products such as reports, graphs, charts, and spreadsheets. Skill in researching, analyzing, interpreting, and applying rules, regulations, and procedures; and planning and organizing work, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
