The Director of Recruiting is accountable for the design and implementation of progressive and effective strategies to ensure McLeod has a well-abled and competent workforce to meet its operational needs and strategic objectives. In collaboration with other Human Resources Directors, provides leadership in the areas of applicant tracking and new hire employee on-boarding. Provides management and staff development initiatives to a team of Healthcare Recruiters. Leads all facets relating to recruiting strategy, contracts, and pipeline initiatives for McLeod Health. The Director of Recruiting has accountability for recruiting metrics and fiscal management for the recruiting. S/he will demonstrate the ability to work and think strategically from conceptualization through delivery possessing strong project management skills. Fiscal leadership. Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of the annual operating budgets of Talent Management and Scholarship ensuring that operations are managed within established guidelines. Strategy and Satisfaction Leadership. Possess the deep understanding of customer/hiring manager needs, challenges, opportunities and expectations, acting as a business partner by proactively suggesting solutions, building trust and strong relationships with an expectation of mutual accountability. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness maintaining a sense of urgency. Workplace Leadership. Translates knowledge of business issues into appropriate Recruiting/Communication strategies, products and services. Develops and executes effective short and long term goals related to staffing, workforce planning, talent pipeline development, inclusion and onboarding. Vendor Management. Works in conjunction with key recruitment-related suppliers, including: staffing agencies, background checks, behavioral inventories, and software as a service (SAAS) vendors. The Director must set high standards for performance, monitor service level agreements and provide ongoing feedback to address service issues. Additionally, the individual evaluates and identifies new opportunities; assessing and prioritizing programs based on business needs of the organization, being successful in building a case, conducting request for proposal (RFP) and contract negotiations to drive for the best outcome
Job Requirements
Qualifications /Training: 8+ years of recruiting experience with 3+ years of management of a recruiting team and/or Human Resource. A successful record of driving recruiting projects with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to deliverables. Experience in establishing and tracking program metrics, return on investment. Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited School RN preferred or other licensed clinical professional
