Drive team development through a strong focus on operations, systems, and culture./ppMajor Duties and Responsibilities/ppOperations/pp Assist in creating DLSOPs and transitioning new clients within the team./pp Review existing DLSOPs periodically for accuracy; update or coordinate updates with agents as needed./pp Utilize reports, Workboard, and desk checks to ensure timely file logging, entry filing, and billing. Key reports include: CHB Non-Consol, Not Billed Report, ESP No DXV, Census Warning Report, and Weekly Scorecard./pp Monitor EDE and IDMA reports to ensure timely action on processed files./pp Ensure compliance with local Customs regulations and Partner Government Agencies (PGA)./pp Maintain adherence to Operational Process Standards and client SOP requirements./pp Ensure operations align with Expeditors policies and procedures./pp Deliver exceptional customer service to clients./pp Allocate workloads within the team and communicate capacity or staffing needs to management./pp Ensure deadlines are met. KPI examples: - Air Keying (CEK) within 24 hours of DXR or AME (when UCE is present) - Ocean Keying (CEK) within 48 hours of DXR or AME (when UCE is present) - Ocean entry filed within 48 hours of CEK (COB/IT Date/ANR)/pp Ensure timely clearance and delivery of shipments./pp Process Customs entries for assigned clients and serve as backup for team members./pp Assist management with Workboard oversight, productivity, and participation in calls or pilot programs./pp Support problem-solving and customer service within the department./pp Assist with entry audits and corrective actions./pp Ensure SOPs are maintained by team members./pp Perform all functions of Brokerage Agents and Leads, including entry processing, KPI compliance, and interaction with Customs and PGAs./pp Ensure cross-training for all team members and assign primary and backup agents for each client. Finances/pp Ensure adherence to company credit procedures and confirm team compliance. For example, obtain approval and enter OLA for shipments over credit limits before transmitting entries./pp Review rate schedules for accuracy./pp Use reports to ensure timely billing./pp Monitor and improve departmental cost control./pp Track overtime usage./pp Assist management in reviewing profitability and productivity to eliminate waste./ppSales/pp Support management and sales in securing new business./pp Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts./pp Enter all client feedback (complaints, compliments, opportunities) into CRM promptly and action assigned items./ppPeople/pp Identify, develop, and mentor your No. 2./pp Maintain high team morale and minimize unplanned turnover./pp Train, motivate, challenge, and mentor employees./pp Conduct routine team meetings to share updates and regulatory changes./pp Prepare annual employee reviews and three employee check-in meetings yearly./pp Ensure all team members meet or exceed training requirements and deadlines./ppSystems/pp Ensure all operational tools are being properly used./ppCulture/pp Promote Expeditors 10 cultural attributes: Appearance, Attitude, Confidence, Curiosity, Excellence, Integrity, Pride, Resolute, Sense of Humor, and Visionary./pp Monitor customer service levels within the department./pp Focus on all 10 areas of District Excellence to make the team world-class./ph3Qualifications/h3pQualifications, Experience, and Education/pp High school diploma or equivalent./pp Ability to interact effectively with clients and team members./pp Strong problem-solving skills./pp Excellent communication and customer service skills./pp Strong organizational and time management abilities./pp Professional attitude./pp Comprehensive knowledge of HTSUS./pp Experience with FDA and Fish
