A Sales Service Professionals sole focus is to maintain revenue, price capture and to improve gross profit. A Sales Service Professional may work on attaining new business where appropriate, but that is not their primary assignment or job responsibility./ppstrongKnowledge/strong/ppGood knowledge of the job. Substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job with a limited understanding of the technical phases of the job./ppstrongJob Complexity/strong/ppPerforms a variety of activities which involve standard procedures. Gathers and manipulates common data, verifies adequacy and appropriateness; develops charts, diagrams, and standard reports. In technical or production positions, may also set up and operate standard electronic or mechanical equipment used to develop, produce and/or test products or process data./ppstrongImpact/strong/ppImpact to overall activity limited to immediate functional area. Errors could result in rework, and minor schedule impact./ppstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/pulliLead daily management of the safety, quality, delivery, and inventory of applications at a large key customer near Longview, WA/liliSupport and perform standard work as required to ensure safe and effective treatment programs, generate weekly and monthly reports, maintain inventory, order materials, equipment uptime/liliPerform data analysis on program performance./liliAssists with customer technical issues, brings any issues to the customers attention and work with area and district managers to put together a plan for corrective action./liliBuild strong customer relationships/liliPursue growth and swap opportunities to maximize customer value./liliParticipate in technical training opportunities for advancement of skills and knowledge./li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/pulliBachelors Degree in Engineering (Chemical and Paper strongly preferred)/liliStrongly preferred 2-5 years of paper industry experience, mill or vendor side/liliStrong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills./liliAbility to build client relationships easily/liliAnalytical ability and great problem-solving skills/liliPresentation skills and ability to convey product value/liliHigh-level organizational skills for maintaining sales of complex product portfolio/liliSelf-confidence to support persuasion and sales efforts/liliMust have a valid Drivers License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record/liliAbility to occasionally lift and carry 50 pounds./liliTravel to our customer paper mill sites/liliMust live within 1 hour of Longview, WA/li/ulpWe understand that candidates will not meet every single desired qualification.
