We pride ourselves as a low-cost auto insurance carrier that you can trust./ppAs an Inside Sales Executive for Kemper Auto you would be responsible, under general supervision, for managing and growing sales within a defined agency assignment through virtual and phone engagement. Accountable for optimizing growth potential of Kemper independent agents while prospecting and appointing new agencies. Responsible for exceeding or meeting year over year growth objectives and utilize the appropriate tools within a consultative sales process. This position requires collaborative cross functional engagement with team members to appropriately determine agency management decisions and develop competitor intelligence. This position does not manage others./ppEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliInfluencing Sales: ulliImplements and executes sales strategies to achieve financial and sales goals./liliCollaborates with internal partners to achieve intended outcomes./liliUtilizes the appropriate sales tools to influence behavior, and drive results through the phone and virtual./li/ul/liliAgency Diagnostics: ulliIdentifies opportunities to cross-sell Kemper Auto products and identified agencies needs aligned with Kemper Auto offerings./li/ul/liliAgency Management and Support: ulliResponsible for managing and developing a territory of independent agents./liliProvides an outstanding experience for agents through consultative selling./liliDevelops and maintains strong relationships with agents at all levels within the agency./liliDrives new business growth, mix of business, retention, and profitability within assigned territory./li/ul/li/ulpQualifications:/pullistrongEducation:/strong Bachelors degree preferred./lilistrongExperience:/strong 2-5 years of sales experience or insurance industry experience preferred and a minimum of 2 years of professional and influential work experience required./lilistrongSkills:/strong ulliCommunication Skills/liliInterpersonal Skills/liliMicrosoft Office Proficiency/liliSales Skills/liliProblem Solving Skills/liliPrioritization and Organization/liliAbility to Learn Quickly/liliIndustry Knowledge/li/ul/lilistrongCertifications:/strong/li/ulpThis is a hybrid role that does require the candidate to work in a local Kemper Auto Office in accordance with the hybrid work model./ppThe range for this position is $53,200 to $88,600. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors.
