
Inside Sales Account Manager - Commercial Auto

Overview
Kemper Auto is a national provider of car insurance to the high-risk non-standard auto market. Nonstandard insurance serves individuals unable to secure coverage through standard insurance companies. This can be due to a driving record with accidents and/or tickets, prior DUI, the driver's age, vehicle type, or other factors. Position Responsibilities
Develop strong agency relationships; guide, direct and manage agents assigned to you to achieve sales quotas and business objectives. This requires establishing goals and objectives, gaining commitment, persistent follow up, organizational skills, ability to overcome objections, strong sales acumen and critical thinking skills.
Execute outbound sales call goals
Company representative and liaison between agency and company personnel to identify and resolve issues, which detract from profitable growth and positive company and agency perception.
Collaborate and work with the field Sales and Product teams to achieve team goals and agent growth.
Drive new agency appointments forward through the defined onboarding process. Participate in and lead training sessions to ensure agency is comfortable with products and guidelines. In partnership with field Sales Executives, manage the agency relationship toward quote adoption and positive production.
Participate in regular strategy and tactical meetings with assigned field Sales Executive partners and Inside Sales leadership.
As part of your development and duties, occasional field travel and agency visits will be required. You will work in conjunction with your field Sales partner, visiting key relationships.
Participate alongside field sales in insurance association conventions, seminars, trade shows, and various other agency related functions.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
Position Qualifications
Insurance experience highly preferred but not necessary.
Ability to interpret statistical data from company reports and build action plans around the insights obtained from the data.
Required to possess effective communication skills and be an acceptable public speaker.
Must be flexible in nature and a highly motivated self-starter.
Basic ability of operating computer (PC) is necessary including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Should demonstrate time management skills.
This is a hybrid role that does require the candidate to work in at a Richardson, TX office in accordance with the hybrid work model.
The range for this position is $53,200 to $88,600. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors. This job is also eligible for our Kemper benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.)
