
Outside Sales Representative
3E is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to support and grow our Manufacturing Division. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused sales professional who understands industrial customers and enjoys selling custom solutionsnot just parts. You will represent a full-service manufacturing operation that includes custom fabrication, machining, welding, forming, painting, and engineering support, backed by an experienced shop team and significant in-stock steel inventory. What You'll Be Selling: Custom fabrication and machining Repair, rebuild, and replacement of damaged or malfunctioning parts Complete system design and build Reverse engineering of existing equipment One-off projects through full production runs Capabilities include: CNC and manual machining (turning, boring, milling) Structural and sheet steel fabrication Shearing, forming, and brake press work TIG, MIG, and SubArc welding Large-capacity painting and finishing Engineering support using SolidWorks and AutoCAD High-definition plasma cutting up to 3" plate Reports to: Sales Manager Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of outside sales experience in manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or industrial services Strong understanding of steel, machining processes, welding, and fabrication preferred Proven ability to build relationships and close consultative sales Comfortable selling custom, engineered solutions Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and territory independently Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally within territory Working Conditions: Conditions vary based on the customer location and may include construction, warehouse, manufacturing, office, or external environments. Some activities may include walking, standing, climbing in various conditions including extreme heat or cold. Essential functions will require travel to customer locations.
