divh2Diagnostic Laboratory Of Oklahoma (DLO)/h2pLocation: Oklahoma City, OK/ppHours: Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm/ppstrongEssential Functions:/strong/pulliReport to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shift/liliPerform all assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilities/liliMaintain a positive, professional, and supportive attitude throughout the workday/liliWork collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a respectful, productive work environment/li/ulpstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliPrimary duty is to perform basic route services as required./liliPick up specimens and verify, within established parameters, that the test requisitions have been filled out correctly and that the specimens have been submitted properly./liliDeliver specimens to designated laboratory/distribution site using appropriate handling, storage, and transportation methods, including the use of transport containers, dry ice, cold packs, etc., to maintain specimen integrity./liliEstablish and maintain positive client relations./liliComplete and submit all administrative forms such as daily route logs, Client Concern forms, supply requisitions and special transportation forms./liliHelp with the packing of specimens for transport to the Core Laboratory./liliMaintain compliance with all safe driving regulations and vehicle maintenance procedures as established by government agencies and company policies./liliAdhere to DLO policies and procedures, including attendance, compliance and safety./li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/ppstrongRequired Knowledge:/strong High School Diploma Required/ppstrongRequired Experience:/strong/pulliProficient in verbal communication with internal and external contacts./liliCustomer oriented with excellent interpersonal skills./liliPrevious Medical Laboratory experience is a plus./li/ulpstrongSpecial Requirements:/strong/pulliValid drivers license with a good driving record./liliParticipates in growth and development of the department./liliReflects the companys values in all aspects of performance./liliMust be a team player./liliMay be called upon to perform duties other than listed in job description./liliOvertime may be required with business needs./li/ulpstrongPhysical and Mental Requirements:/strong/pulliPosition requires travel/liliExtensive use of phone and hand held device (PC)/liliProlonged standing/sitting/walking/driving/liliFine dexterity with hands/steadiness/liliAble to lift up to 25 pounds; may occasionally need to lift 40 pounds; carrying up to 15 pounds for several minutes at a time/liliAbility to communicate effectively in English with clients, supervisors and peers/liliVision-requires constant mental visual attention to details as well as ability to see well in limited light scenarios/liliBalancing/liliBending/kneeling/liliPushing/pulling/liliReaching/twisting/li/ulpstrongAbout The Team:/strong/ppQuest Diagnostics honors our service members and encourages veterans to apply.
