divh2Sprinkler Sales Executive/h2pWe are looking for a Sprinkler Sales Executive to handle the estimates, proposals, and negotiations for sprinkler installation projects as well as large repair service work covering the state of Connecticut. Experience in the fire protection industry is highly preferred, but we are open to considering candidates with less experience if they demonstrate strong qualifications. And you will be expected to spend time in the office working with internal resources to accurately develop proposals and communicate with customers (on the phone and over email), but the similarities end there./ppHeres what you can expect:/pulliConduct thorough site visits as required to gain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and objectives./liliSkillfully prepare detailed and accurate bids for fire protection projects, considering all relevant factors such as labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs, and overhead expenses./liliConduct thorough analysis of project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to accurately estimate costs associated with fire protection system installations, upgrades, and modifications./liliMaintain organized documentation of bid documents, correspondence, and pricing information in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality./liliCultivate an in-depth understanding of the territory and market dynamics, enabling informed decision-making and strategic selling approaches./liliFoster synergy and collaboration by actively engaging with internal project management, field construction teams, design professionals, and fellow sales team members to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction./liliBuild strong relationships with customers and general contractors to create additional job opportunities/li/ulpSkills:/ppWhile proficiency in some of these skills is not an immediate requirement, we anticipate your dedication to developing and honing them over time:/pulliTechnical Proficiency: Deep understanding of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, suppression systems, and codes/regulations related to fire safety./liliQuantitative Analysis: Ability to analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to accurately estimate materials, labor, and equipment costs./liliAttention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimating project costs and preparing bids and proposals./liliKnowledge of Codes and Standards: Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards governing fire protection systems./liliComputer Skills: Proficiency in estimating software and spreadsheets for cost analysis, bid preparation, and documentation./liliTime Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliverables./li/ulpRequirements:/pulli5+ years of experience in the fire protection industry is highly preferred though we are open to considering those with less that are able to demonstrate their capabilities/liliFormal sales experience that extends beyond retail or hospitality. Experience selling a service (as opposed to a tangible product) is a plus/liliProven ability to analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to accurately estimate materials, labor, equipment, permits, and overhead costs./liliProficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)/liliKnowledge of contract terms and pricing/liliMust be able to work at heights and lift at least 50lbs./liliMust have valid drivers license and reliable transportation with willingness to travel to job sites throughout the state/li/ulpBenefits:/pulliSalary commensurate with experience with opportunity for a results-driven bonus based on personal output and effectiveness in role/liliPurpose and results driven work environment (work smarter not harder)/liliWe dress for the objective which means most days we wear jeans but occasionally we wear suits.
