Marketing Manager

Rosewood Sand Hill is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the execution of integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen brand positioning, drive demand, and enhance guest engagement. Reporting to the Director of Communications, this role partners closely with Sales, Operations, and corporate brand and marketing teams to deliver thoughtful, performance-driven campaigns across digital, social, content, and experiential platforms. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-onbringing a refined creative sensibility, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the luxury guest. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Execution Work closely with Director of Communications and Director of Sales & Marketing to develop and support annual marketing plans that align with brand positioning and business goals. Collaborate with leadership to support revenue-driving initiatives across rooms, dining, spa, and events. Brand & Content Management Uphold the integrity of the hotel's brand voice and visual identity across all consumer touchpoints. Oversee and execute the creation of compelling content, campaigns, and storytelling that resonate with a luxury audience. Manage website updates and content on Rosewood Sand Hill - Luxury Hotel Menlo Park including copy, photography, and landing page updates, working closely with corporate team for brand alignment. Manage photo and video shoots to conform to brand standards to support corporate and local campaigns. Digital Marketing & Social Media Manage performance-driven digital initiatives including SEO, SEM, email marketing, paid media, and website optimization. Adjust strategies as needed based on data-driven insights to improve results. Oversee the hotel's social media strategy, working with internal teams and agency partners to grow engagement and brand affinity. Execute local promotions and campaigns to support various business units including food & beverage, weddings, spa, meetings & events. Manage social media accounts for the hotel with relevant, on-brand content to enhance property positioning and drive engagement and acquisition Analytics & Reporting Analyze performance data to measure ROI, optimize campaigns, and inform future strategy. Present monthly marketing insights and reports to Director of Communications and the leadership team. Team Collaboration Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Spa and F&B. Work closely with corporate marketing and brand teams to align local initiatives with global strategy. Support other marketing initiatives, including public relations, programming, partnerships, media communications, B2B marketing, collateral development, photo/video shoots Critical Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Two to three years of marketing and digital/e-commerce experience; previous experience with a luxury/hospitality brand preferred. Strong understanding of luxury consumer behavior and trends. Proven success managing integrated marketing campaigns and working with premium brands. Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills with the ability to interpret and adhere to brand standards. An eye for design and creativity to communicate the hotel across digital platforms Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams on property including operations, catering, and sales. Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills. Highly organized, collaborative, and adept at balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Knowledge of content management and email marketing platforms; previous experience using Adobe AEM platform and Photoshop/InDesign preferred. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience, type of hotel luxury experience, location, and education.
