The CORE is hiring a Seasonal Camp Lead for Summer 2026 to support the daily operations of our camp programs and help lead a team of Camp Counselors. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll mentor staff, support engaging activities and field trips, ensure safety and Standards of Care, and help create a positive, organized camp environment for every participant. This flexible position is ideal for confident, dependable leaders who enjoy working with youth, guiding teams, and making a meaningful impact all summer long. Schedule Commitment: Works a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and nights during the summer season averaging 20-40 hours a week. Pay Plan: The Seasonal Camp Counselor is a non-exempt, non-benefitted, GAP position with an hourly rate of $17.00. Experience: 18+ years of age or older High School Diploma/GED Experience working with children of all ages. Certification of CPR/FA is preferred; it will be required upon hire for continued employment. Completion of training and orientation is required for continuing employment. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of Youth Program Standards of Care Strong emotional maturity and leadership skills. Interpersonal skills for effective communication and conflict resolution. Commitment to providing a positive and safe camp environment.
