Humana Government Business is a leading Department of Defense contractor with a long-standing commitment to the TRICARE program and has been awarded the T-5 East Region military health contract. The TRICARE Community Engagement Specialist (TCES) plays a vital role in supporting our TRICARE beneficiaries. This position involves active engagement through various communication channels such as in-person meetings, telephone, email, and chat. The TCES focuses on building strong connections with TRICARE customers, including government representatives, beneficiaries, and healthcare providers across the East Region. You will need to be sensitive to the unique challenges faced by military service members and their families, including the effects of stress and trauma related to military operations. As a TCES, you will cover specific Health System Areas, averaging over 62,000 beneficiaries and 8,000 network providers within a territory that can span more than 43,000 square miles. You will ensure that all stakeholders understand the TRICARE health plan and effectively navigate the Military Health System. Key Responsibilities: Deliver clear explanations of TRICARE health plan policies and procedures during outreach activities, meeting performance standards for customer satisfaction and compliance. Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries from beneficiaries, providers, and government agencies regarding eligibility, enrollment, billing, claims, referrals, and access to care. Tackle complex TRICARE issues escalated by beneficiaries or providers effectively and efficiently. Contribute to developing a high-performing provider network that meets both TRICARE and Humana requirements, while identifying opportunities for improvement. Complete administrative tasks diligently, including documenting customer interactions and processing required reports. Assist with contingency operations for Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and participate in urgent market assessments as necessary. Engage in initiatives that support personal development and the professional growth of your peers. Your Skills Make a Difference: Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship is required for our Department of Defense contract. Must secure interim approval for government security clearance. Must reside within a 60-mile radius of West Point, New York, with the availability to work on-site several days a month. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. 1-2 years of experience in customer relations or public-facing roles, preferably involving TRICARE. Exceptional public speaking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in problem analysis and solution implementation. Background in healthcare provider relations. Familiarity with the TRICARE program. While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana’s offices for training or meetings may be required. 40 Compensation:

The salary for this position ranges from $58,700 to $68,200 annually, based on relevant skills and experience, with bonuses available based on performance.
