Penn South Capital is seeking a dedicated Property Manager to lead the daily oversight of our diverse residential and retail portfolio in Manhattan and Brooklyn. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, excels in tenant relations, and has a strong command of property operations and compliance.
What You’ll Do
Manage day-to-day property operations and building performance
Supervise onsite staff, including superintendents and support teams
Respond to tenant inquiries and ensure timely resolution
Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and vendor services
Oversee lease renewals and tenant turnover preparation
Track budgets, monitor expenses, and support financial planning
Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with NYC housing laws
Who We’re Looking For To be successful in this position, candidates should have:
2+ years of property management experience
Strong expertise with property management systems (AppFolio)
Excellent communication skills and customer-centric approach
Ability to navigate NYC regulatory requirements
Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities
A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills
