(12-Month Contract) Hybrid in San Mateo, CA (preferred), Los Angeles, CA or San Diego, CA

We are looking for a

Marketing Brand Specialist

to join the global brand marketing team. This is an early-career role designed for someone who is excited to learn how global game marketing works and wants hands-on experience supporting the launch of high-profile AAA titles. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing on the Global Games Marketing team and works closely with the Global Brand Lead, studio partners, and cross-functional teams. You’ll help support the development and execution of marketing plans, gain exposure to large-scale campaigns, and build foundational experience in brand marketing within the games industry.

Responsibilities

Support the Global Brand Lead and brand marketing team to help create and execute integrated marketing plans

Help manage the global asset calendar and track deliverables across all territories

Assist with integrated marketing campaigns including broadcast, digital, social, CRM, search, promotions, retail/channels under the guidance of the broader team

Leverage and help synthesize consumer brand research to support brand strategy

Coordinate day-to-day work with internal and external creative, media, and digital agencies

Review creative materials and provide organized feedback against the brand strategy

Help compile and report on campaign performance and support discussions around optimization

Support interactions with partners and brands to help drive mutually beneficial partnerships

Assist with approval coordination for all creative assets

Requirements

Passion for marketing and video games

Some exposure to marketing, communications, media, or related fields (internships, academic projects, or entry-level roles are welcome) - previous gaming experience is a plus.

Foundational strategic thinking skills for implementing marketing plans and brand creative briefs

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Extremely organized individual

Experience working with creative or media agencies is preferred but not required

Experience working with major IP is preferred but not required

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at different stages with guidance and support

MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint experience required.

Please note that the individual base pay range may vary based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
