About the Role
The organization is looking for a passionate Senior Vice President of Reimbursement Strategy to spearhead initiatives that improve patient access to innovative clinical laboratory services. In this critical position, you will conduct thorough research and analysis of reimbursement challenges impacting various government agencies, commercial health plans, and third-party organizations. You will serve as a subject matter expert on Medicare coverage and reimbursement, fostering consensus among member companies and leading the association's reimbursement working groups.
Your role will involve building strong relationships with reimbursement experts among members, collaborating closely with the Board of Directors, and prioritizing engagement with policymakers and key stakeholders. Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in government relations, particularly in public health, healthcare institutions, or association management, along with at least 2 years of leadership experience in managing project teams.
A deep understanding of Medicare payment and coverage policies is essential, alongside the ability to effectively engage with state and private payers. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills and a steadfast commitment to delivering outstanding member services. You should excel in collaborating with diverse stakeholders and possess a strategic mindset for analyzing and communicating reimbursement policies.
