Are you prepared to transform the way the world moves? Your Role... As a Purchasing Specialist within the FCSD purchasing organization, you will play a vital role in managing purchasing operations. You will spearhead commercial negotiations, address pressing supply issues, and oversee material costs for designated suppliers. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will seek opportunities for process enhancements and cost savings while ensuring compliance with our standards. Your Key Responsibilities... Procurement: Identify and act upon cost reduction opportunities Manage and resolve supplier cost increase requests Enhance service supply processes Guarantee exceptional delivery performance from suppliers Support supplier quality management procedures Initiate and complete new part sourcing in a timely manner Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives Lead supplier engagement and management activities Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance teams to align process improvements with company objectives. Coordinate with various functional areas to leverage spending and optimize supplier relationships Performance Monitoring: Evaluate supplier performance and cost metrics to uncover trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for further enhancements. Your Qualifications... Bachelor's degree 3+ years of purchasing experience A proven record of managing complex commodities and devising cost-effective solutions Analytical and problem-solving expertise with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Project Management experience Preferred Qualifications...
