In addition, our competitive compensation package includes eligibility for performance-based cash incentives. Salary Range $139,400.00 - $230,000.00 Target Openings 1 What Is the Opportunity? As a leader in our Enterprise AI and Emerging Technologies team, you will engage in strategic collaboration focused on enhancing our technology capabilities and transforming our business. The role of the Director of Data Engineering is crucial, blending strategic leadership with hands-on technical skills. You'll guide an agile DevOps team through the complexities of AI implementation while directly contributing to high-impact projects. Your leadership will shape our AI adoption and help build and mentor exceptional engineering teams. Here’s what we expect from you: Develop and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment of AI/ML models and data solutions across the organization. Design and implement effective DevOps practices that span the entire application and model development lifecycle. Drive the growth and transformation of our analytics and technology infrastructure through innovation and automation. Lead a responsive DevOps team supporting a portfolio of applications within the Enterprise AI and Emerging Technologies value stream. Advocate for cybersecurity, compliance, and data governance across all projects. What Will You Do? Lead the development of analytical data products, including pilot projects and proof of concepts. Execute data strategies while understanding enterprise architecture, platform consumption patterns, and application infrastructure. Automate and operationalize capabilities to ensure secure, scalable solutions. Present data-driven analyses and recommendations to influence senior management decisions. Mentor and coach team members to accelerate their career development. Establish efficient team processes and procedures. Maintain collaborative relationships with partner teams to ensure alignment and forward planning. Perform additional duties as needed. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience. Five or more years of relevant experience. At least two years of management experience. Strong organizational skills and the ability to build cross-enterprise relationships. Proven experience implementing innovative technologies in AI and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), including Kubernetes, Python, Docker, and LLMs. Experience collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities and address risks in AI solutions delivery. A genuine passion for Artificial Intelligence and enthusiasm for leveraging AI technologies to enhance business processes. A critical-thinking mindset with the ability to design streamlined solutions for application development. Advanced knowledge of data tools, techniques, and technologies, including programming languages and platforms. Familiarity with CI/CD practices and automated testing tools. Experience with large-scale AI implementations and various database technologies (NoSQL and RDBMS). Expertise with AWS infrastructure, including Sagemaker, Glue, Lambda, and EKS. Proven success in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration. What is a Must Have? Bachelor's degree in computer science, related STEM field, or equivalent experience.
