Neuroscience Sales Specialist – Knoxville, TN. Join Johnson & Johnson’s Intra-Cellular Therapies, a leading CNS company. The role focuses on patient-centric sales, territory development, and partnership building in a dynamic, virtual environment. Roles & Responsibilities
Drive sales performance by calling HCP offices, mental health community centers, and virtual platforms to meet or exceed territory forecasts. Use assigned budgets effectively, customize discussions, and maintain ethical, compliant interactions with customers. Stay current on local market, practice structures, customer needs, and key influencers; share insights with internal stakeholders. Provide input into resource allocation decisions and identify appropriate programs/resources for each customer, practice, and system. Collaborate with Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives and capitalizes on formulary approvals and other opportunities. Accountability for accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample, and expense reporting. Complete all company training and training timelines. Qualifications & Experience
Minimum two years of relevant work experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales, account management, or business-to-business sales, or transitioned from Active-Duty Military. Three or more years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred; launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales experience highly preferred. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record required. Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers; patient-centered mentality required. High integrity, compliance with the company’s policies and procedures; self-motivation, initiative, and entrepreneurial spirit required. Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to a diverse customer audience. Benefits & Compensation
Salary range: $79,000 – $155,000. Eligible for the company’s long‑term incentive program, 401(k) retirement plan, and comprehensive benefits including vacation, sick time, holiday pay, parental leave, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, military spouse time‑off, and additional general benefits.
