Neuroscience Sales Representative – Chicago, IL. At Johnson & Johnson, we are building a world where complex diseases are prevented, treated, and cured. We are seeking a passionate sales professional to drive practice growth in CNS with Intra-Cellular Therapies, a leading neuroscience company.
Job Responsibilities
Drive territory sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts by engaging Primary Care HCPs and select PC targets in person and virtually.
Develop deep product and disease-state knowledge, effectively educating and engaging healthcare professionals in clinical dialogue.
Use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives while customizing discussions to customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
Operate independently with sales proficiency, ensuring forecasts and budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
Maintain local market understanding, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers, sharing insights with Intra‑Cellular stakeholders.
Provide input into resource allocation decisions and identify appropriate programs for each customer.
Collaborate with district manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan and capitalize on formulary approvals.
Deliver accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, and expense reporting.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a valid driver’s license.
1+ year documented success in B2B sales experience; previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales preferred.
Strong desire to improve the lives of patients and caregivers; patient‑centricity is essential.
High integrity and compliance with Johnson & Johnson’s policies and procedures.
Self‑motivation, initiative, and entrepreneurial drive with excellent decision‑making judgment.
Adaptability to a changing virtual and tele‑medicine environment.
Strong verbal, presentation, and listening skills with the ability to analyze data and assess progress against objectives.
Ability to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Benefits Salary range: $79,000 – $130,000. In addition to base pay, eligible employees participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, group legal insurance, and the Company’s 401(k) retirement plan with a Company match. The position is also eligible to participate in the Company’s long‑term incentive program.
