The Neuroscience Sales Specialist has overall responsibility for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within their assigned geographies in an ethical and compliant manner. The sales specialist is responsible for understanding and identifying customer needs, aligning marketing resources and supporting pull-through activities. They are also accountable for embodying and communicating Intra-Cellular’s corporate vision of improving the lives of patients suffering from neuropsychiatric disorders. The role will develop superior product and disease state knowledge to engage in in-depth clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals, create local strategic and tactical plans, allocate resources, and manage budgets and expenses within the territory. We are looking for sales professionals who have a passion for patients, tenacity for results, adaptability, and an entrepreneurial spirit in a fast-paced, winning culture. Responsibilities

Following compliance guidelines, drives sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers in-person and virtually. Effectively uses assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives. Customizes discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner. Maintains current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers; shares information with relevant internal stakeholders. Provides input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region; identifies and selects programs/resources appropriate for each customer, practice, and/or system. Works with Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that achieves business objectives and utilizes formulary approvals and other opportunities. Collaborates with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and best practices. Accountable for timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, responses, synchronization, and expense reporting. Builds a business plan based on customer needs, resources, and product availability. Completes all required company and job-related training within deadlines. A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in healthcare sales/account management, business-to-business sales, or recently transitioned fromActive-Duty Military 3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bi-polar sales experience highly preferred Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; valid driver’s license and safe driving record Strong desire and passion for improving patients’ lives; patient-centric mindset High integrity and adherence to Company Compliance policies and procedures Entrepreneurial attitude with self-motivation, initiative, decision-making ability, and cross-functional collaboration Ability to learn and adapt in evolving environments; comfort with telemedicine/virtual engagements Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress and identify opportunities Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences Work hours may include meetings outside of normal hours; some overnight travel may be required; domestic travel to HQ and training is possible Must be able to perform all essential functions, with or without accommodation Salary and Benefits

Salary range for this position: $79,000 - $155,000 This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program. The job is subject to terms of applicable benefits and policies. Equal Employment Opportunity
