* ***Education:*** Bachelor’s degree in a science, business, or a related field is required. Up to four years of additional related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.* ***Sales Experience:***A minimum of three years of proven outside business-to-business (B2B) sales experience is mandatory, including success in solution-selling concepts and a demonstrated history of managing a defined sales territory.* ***Consultative Sales:***Proven success using a consultative sales approach to establish a comprehensive mix of sales solutions and products by providing multiple layers of customer value.* ***Business Acumen:*** Demonstrated success leveraging a deep understanding of the customer's business, current macroeconomic and microeconomic trends, industry trends, and identifying potential new business opportunities.* ***Technology Proficiency:*** Experience with collaborative customer success management (CSM) platforms, such as Google Space and Salesforce.* ***Prioritization:*** Knowledge of customer segmentation and the ability to prioritize targeting customers that deliver the highest value to Airgas.* ***Communication:*** Must possess excellent written and oral communication, listening, organizational, and presentation skills.* ***Industry Knowledge (a plus):*** Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases, or prior industrial gas/welding supply sales experience.Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is a leading U.S. supplier of industrial, medical and specialty gases, as well as hardgoods and related products; one of the largest U.S. suppliers of safety products; and a leading U.S. supplier of ammonia products and process chemicals.
