Summary / Objective
Bestway is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Director of IT Operations. This vital role involves overseeing and managing the IT infrastructure across all Bestway store and office locations. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in systems and network administration, telecom management, software and hardware deployment, reporting, and managing service providers, addressing the technology needs outlined by company leadership. This position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer.
Essential Functions
Management of Store, Home Office, and Cloud Infrastructure, including:
PCs, Servers, Printers, Switches, Routers, Modems, Inventory Scanning Devices, Credit Card Terminals, Receipt printers
Proficient in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Office 365. Monitoring backups and restoring files. Responsible for Disaster Recovery and Data Loss Prevention Planning and Strategy. Escalating critical issues to the CIO and/or managed service providers. Development and maintenance of reports to ensure timely delivery to stores and operations management. Requirements gathering and analysis for new reports and software updates. Providing support for Point of Sale software and hardware as well as Credit Card Terminals/Payment Processing. Managing the Intranet/Internal Resource Distribution for documents, videos, and other operational files. Overseeing special projects as needed. Competencies Expertise in hardware, software, and telecom troubleshooting. Strong sense of urgency and ability to navigate through ambiguity. Proficient at identifying business requirements for software, hardware, and reporting needs. Skilled in managing multiple projects with minimal supervision. Able to collaborate effectively with upper management and various departments to meet IT goals. Exhibits strong business acumen, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills.
