Summary: The Purchasing Agent manages procurement, inventory, and vendor relationships to support daily operations. This role negotiates pricing and contracts, ensures timely delivery, and maintains compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and purchase materials, equipment, and components. Monitor inventory and reconcile discrepancies in ERP system. Negotiate terms, resolve shipment issues, and maintain vendor compliance. Track orders and communicate delays to internal teams. Maintain accurate records and support organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred. 3–5 years purchasing experience. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems. Knowledge of sourcing strategies and lean manufacturing principles.
