
Your Role
The Senior Specialist, Social Media Content Strategy (Beauty) owns the development and evolution of the Beauty social strategy. This role shapes how Beauty shows up emotionally, culturally, and consistently across social platforms, building desire through product storytelling, gifting moments, and sensorial experiences.
This is a highly strategic role for someone who loves beauty, understands how culture and commerce intersect, and is excited to own a category end to end. You will be responsible for translating insight into ideas, ideas into content, and content into performance, helping define how Beauty builds relevance and emotional connection with customers on social.

Your Impact Category Strategy & Point of View
Develop, own, and continuously evolve the Beauty category point of view on social.
Build a deep understanding of the Beauty customer mindset, including usage occasions, gifting moments, emotional drivers, and the interests that influence discovery, education, and purchase behavior.
Monitor the competitive landscape to understand how other brands are capturing attention and where Victoria’s Secret can show up more distinctly.
Evolve category strategy based on performance, cultural shifts, and business priorities.
Content Strategy, Briefing & Cultural Moments
Generate and own content ideas tied to Beauty launches, initiatives, and key moments throughout the year.
Lead the development of non-product, culture-driven content strategies that keep the brand relevant and connected beyond core product launches.
Write clear, inspiring briefs that articulate the idea, intent, product or moment focus, recommended channels, and executional needs to deliver the intended story, aligned to platform roles and audience behavior.
Creative Development & Collaboration
Partner closely with Creative, Brand Marketing, and Merchandising to bring Beauty stories and cultural moments to life.
Collaborate with other Category Strategists to ensure cohesion across categories, moments, and narratives.
Support cross-category moments when Beauty intersects with broader brand storytelling.
Execution & Posting
Participate in a shared posting rotation across the social team, publishing content across platforms according to the social calendar.
Ensure content is published accurately, on time, and in line with platform best practices.
Partner closely with the rest of the social team to support real-time moments and engagement.
Performance & Optimization
Review and interpret performance through a category-first lens.
Apply insights to evolve storytelling, creative approach, and distribution strategy.
Balance short-term performance with long-term brand and category equity.
