Job Overview
The Marketing Specialist at Houston Methodist partners with marketing management to drive preference and volume for assigned programs and service lines. This client‑facing role fosters positive relationships with hospital stakeholders, physicians and vendors, and contributes to the development, implementation, measurement, and optimization of marketing and sponsorship plans. Exempt Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field Four years experience related to Marketing and Communications Skills and Abilities
Proficient in spreadsheet, word‑processing and presentation software Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Positive and supportive attitude; works collaboratively with stakeholders Essential Functions
Fosters and maintains positive relationships with clients, marketing stakeholders, sponsored organizations and vendors. Contributes to development of plans, campaigns, creative kickoffs, and event strategy; implements and measures defined KPI performance. Collaborates with writers, designers to develop content for web, collateral, blog and newsletter articles, advertising and press releases. Provides input to clients in an advisory capacity to help them make sound business decisions by identifying needs and problem‑solving issues at hand. Travel
May require travel within the Houston Metropolitan area. No travel outside Houston Metropolitan area. Company Profile
