Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven
Senior Account Executive
to join a leading wholesale apparel sales team focused on men’s outdoor and activewear. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional who is a self-starter, collaborative team player, and comfortable traveling as needed to support key accounts.
The
Senior Account Executive
will be responsible for managing and growing major wholesale relationships, driving sales performance, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting overall business objectives. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent buyer relationships, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced wholesale environment.
Key Responsibilities Sales Growth & Performance Meet and exceed sales and shipping goals on a monthly, quarterly, seasonal, and annual basis Identify and communicate opportunities to increase profitability across accounts Develop strategies to maximize sales growth while reducing inventory liability
Account Management & Relationship Building Manage, develop, and maintain strong relationships with buyers at key wholesale accounts Explore and build new business opportunities with a focus on long-term, sustainable growth Serve as a trusted partner to accounts by understanding their business needs and objectives
Analysis & Reporting Monitor and compile weekly selling analysis, including style-level and location-level performance Identify reorder and replenishment opportunities based on sales trends Assist with running weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports to uncover growth opportunities
Wholesale Operations & Market Support Support the wholesale team during market, including maintaining line sheets on NuOrder Track incoming samples and inventory Assist with buyer appointments and showroom presentations Support order-related tasks such as extension requests, order entry, date changes, and modifications
Projects & Team Support Assist with ad hoc projects as needed to support the wholesale business Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and account support
Qualifications & Requirements Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Account Executive in wholesale apparel sales Proven ability to manage key accounts and exceed sales targets Excellent buyer relationships and strong negotiation skills Creative problem solver with a strategic, analytical mindset
Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Costco is a strong plus Experience selling men’s apparel, outdoor, or activewear categories Strong showroom presentation and sales skills
Technical & Professional Skills Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and productivity software Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skillsAbility to travel as needed to support assigned accounts
