We encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone, offering resources and flexibility to foster your professional and personal growth, all while valuing your unique contributions.Reporting directly to VP – Site Head; the Director of Technical Operations, is responsible for leading the Technical Operations and Organic Chemistry Group (OCG), processes, people and growth & improvement in meeting Mishawaka POC SCM’s Mandate for the Urinalysis + Novus, DCA and VTLi products, as well as assisting in all areas of the transformation to achieve the highest level of Operational Excellence.***Key Responsibilities***Plans and manages personnel and material resources, processes and projects in the laboratory team(s) assigned. In this capacity, this position is responsible for manufacturing support, OCG production planning and delivery, product performance monitoring as well as root cause investigation and process & design improvement measures. The position requires constant cross-departmental contact and consultation, while managing multiple projects and teams within the Operations, Engineering, Quality, Material Management and R&D department.* Responsible for 6 employees in Technical Operations and 4 employees in OCG* Working very closely with Operations and Engineering department on equipment and process requirements/troubleshooting/validations* Continuous improvement programs across the supply chain, root cause analysis and troubleshooting as it relates to all manufacturing functions and processes.* Constant cross-departmental contact and consultation across the site with focus on Operations, Engineering, Quality, Materials Management, R&D teams and as well as vendors to analyze and resolve major technical issues by identifying the cause and instituting appropriate corrective actions* Champion the Healthineers Performance System as a means to enable continuous improvement, employee engagement and organizational learning; core methods will include Hoshin Kanri, Value Stream Mapping, Structured Problem Solving, Visual Management, Coaching and Healthy Dialogue* Visionary planning based on divisional and company strategy for TO department for 3-5 years.*Note: Duties are not limited to those listed above. Masters and/or PhD in a related field is desirable and/or an equivalent combination of education and technical and industrial experience acceptable to Siemens Healthineers.* 15 or more years of industrial experience within manufacturing environment – preferably in medical devices* Minimum of 15 years in an ISO regulated industrial environment* Minimum of 10 years in a managerial/director capacity is preferred**Who we are**: We are a team of more than 72,000 highly dedicated Healthineers in more than 70 countries.
