Director, Trade Marketing

The Trade Marketing Director will lead strategic initiatives to generate marketplace demand for NBCUniversal's advertising offerings, with a focus on agency, client, category, and portfolio-wide strategies. This role positions NBCUniversal as the industry's most trusted media partner for driving ad sales revenue and maximizing media effectiveness for clients of all size. Reporting to the Vice President of Trade Marketing, this position will manage a team of 2+ marketing professionals, ranging from Interns to Managers. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive trade marketing strategies that elevate NBCUniversal's value proposition across agencies, clients, categories, and industry events. Create industry-leading B2B marketing materials and campaigns, including presentations, sizzle videos, social campaigns and immersive experiences. Oversee event strategy and premium development, ensuring best-in-class activations that strengthen client relationships. Partner with internal and external stakeholders (sales, programming, communications) to ensure consistent messaging and alignment. Liaise with external partners (vendors, clients, industry organizations or partners) Lead cross-platform initiatives that showcase NBCUniversal's capabilities and innovation. Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, foster growth and collaboration. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in media, agency, or client-side marketing with a focus on advertising sales support Proven ability to lead and project manage strategic marketing campaigns and events from concept to execution. Strong understanding of the advertising marketplace and category dynamics. Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience Desired Characteristics: General understanding of the advertising marketplace across various platforms. Experience in media marketing and the advertising sales process. Expertise in B2B branding development, strategy, and execution. Strategic thinker with strong leadership and interpersonal skills, able to influence at all levels. Self-starter with exceptional organizational, project, and event management skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Meticulous with a keen eye for detail, organization, and design. Innovative mindset with positive energy and flexibility. Ability to lead and motivate direct reports and cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation tools; Adobe Creative Suite and Ceros experience preferred. Hybrid:

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 2026, this will increase to four days per week.
