The Team

Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) is a subsidiary of A&M and provides global leadership and advisory services across various industries. TAG professionals specialize in buy-side and sell-side due diligence, capital markets and accounting advisory, global transaction analytics, environmental, technical & sustainability (ETS) advisory, and other M&A services for private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, family offices, and corporate clients. A&M\'s Global Transaction Analytics (GTA) practice, within TAG, offers data analytics services across the investment lifecycle from pre-deal to post-deal analysis.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Director in the GTA practice, you will work with a motivated team on projects across industries such as manufacturing, distribution, consumer, retail, and more (including healthcare, software & technology, energy, and financial services). You will add value by providing data-enabled business, financial, and operational transparency during pre-acquisition due diligence or post-acquisitions performance improvement projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead numerous client engagements
  • Manage and prioritize team responsibilities and consult with senior members across multiple deals
  • Collaborate across stakeholders
  • Counsel and mentor junior team members and develop the team\'s technical acumen
  • Proactively recruit, train, and develop junior staff, including teaching training classes as applicable
  • Manage day-to-day client interaction and relationships, showcasing A&M capabilities
  • Contribute to sales pursuits and expand client opportunities
  • Expand TAG market share within existing clients and increase non-TAG purchases
  • Identify and pursue referrals from existing and new clients by attending industry conferences
  • Appropriately manage engagement risk and issues

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services
  • Buy-side/vendor due diligence experience across industries preferred
  • Understanding of M&A / PE investment lifecycle preferred
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems or related field
  • Understanding of data extraction, manipulation, analytics and visualization approaches
  • Strong technical background with hands-on data analytics experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL querying, Alteryx, BI/visualization (Tableau or Power BI), big data, and ML concepts
  • Ability to leverage business intelligence software
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work as a team member and as an individual contributor
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings

The base salary is $225,000 annually, with a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
