With new developments, recent acquisitions, and a joint venture with a major institutional capital partner, Silver Birch is entering its next phase of growth.
We are seeking a Vice President for Investments & Growth Strategy to lead acquisition execution, support portfolio growth, and evaluate new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Source and execute senior living acquisition opportunities
- Lead underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution
- Structure and negotiate debt and equity investments
- Support municipal bond and LIHTC financing for developments
- Partner on geographic expansion strategies
- Evaluate and launch new, complementary business lines
- Mentor and develop investment team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of experience in investments, strategy, or real estate
- Senior living or long-term care experience strongly preferred
- Proven experience structuring debt and equity transactions
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Additional Information
- Approximately 20% travel
- Must reside in or relocate to the Chicago area
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and productivity tools
