
Job Summary
Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is a leader in wireless solutions. This Director of Product Management for Qualcomm Connectivity, Broadband & Networking (CBN) will define and drive a comprehensive connectivity product strategy for consumer, IoT, compute, and XR platforms. The role involves engaging key customers, developing ecosystem partnerships, shaping hardware/software roadmaps, and scaling new technologies into markets.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Define and drive a comprehensive connectivity product strategy.
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate closely with key customers to understand needs and translate market feedback into actionable insights.
- Ecosystem Development: Foster partnerships and ecosystem growth around CBN products.
- Roadmap Creation: Shape the hardware and software roadmap for new technologies and initiatives.
- Decision‑Making: Make impactful decisions that align with overall business direction, often resulting in significant resource commitments.
- Technical Communication: Deliver complex technical presentations to showcase managed products.
- Business Astuteness: Lead team collaboration in creating business cases and validate cases for development of new, complex products.
- Market Success: Initiate and manage programs to create demand and differentiation, tracking success in the market.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or a related field.
- 8+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Seasoned strategic partnerships/business development executive with 15+ years‑experience in the high‑tech space.
- Expertise in wireless connectivity (WiFi/BT/BLE/Thread/Cellular).
- 5+ years negotiating third‑party business agreements.
- 5+ years working in a large matrixed organization.
- Proven track record of delivering a strong ROI on large platform products.
- Experience working with ecosystem partners in the wireless space, including MNOs, module makers, and service providers.
- Proven track record in managing consumer electronic OEMs for wireless technology products.
Pay Range
$196,000.00 - $344,800.00. The above range reflects the minimum to maximum pay range for this job code and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for a competitive discretionary bonus program, annual RSU grants, and a highly competitive benefits package.
