Social Media Assistant – Detailed Job Responsibilities & Duties PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU CAN WORK IN OUR OFFICE LOCATION IN COCONUT CREEK, FL.

Collaborate with the marketing manager and team to create a monthly content calendar that aligns with brand objectives, product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.

Research industry trends, competitor activity, and audience interests to suggest creative content ideas.

Assist in brainstorming new formats, series, and engagement initiatives to keep social channels fresh and appealing.

Content Creation & Publishing Draft, edit, and schedule daily posts for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, and TikTok, and Youtube

Write engaging and on-brand copy tailored to each platform’s audience and best practices.

Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, or use in-house tools (e.g., Canva) to develop supporting visuals, graphics, and short videos.

Prepare and publish posts directly or through scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Later).

Community Engagement & Brand Voice Monitor comments, direct messages, mentions, and user-generated content across all platforms.

Respond promptly, professionally, and in the brand voice to comments, questions, and reviews.

Flag and elevate sensitive issues or customer concerns to the marketing director or customer service team.

Analytics & Reporting Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics: reach, impressions, engagement rates, follower growth, and post performance.

Use platform analytics and third-party tools to create simple, insightful reports.

Share key takeaways and suggest data-driven improvements to content strategy.

Trend Monitoring & Platform Updates Stay current with platform algorithm changes, new features, and viral trends.

Identify opportunities to leverage trending audio, hashtags, or formats (especially for TikTok and Instagram Reels).

Test new content types and features to keep channels innovative.

Coordinate closely with the marketing director and any external content creators, designers, or videographers.

Work with other departments (sales, product, customer service) to source updates, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content.

Help organize and document brand assets and maintain consistency across platforms.

Paid Social Support (Optional/If applicable) Assist in boosting posts or creating basic ad campaigns under the guidance of the marketing team.

Track promoted content performance and adjust accordingly.

Brand Consistency & Quality Control Ensure all posts adhere to brand guidelines (voice, tone, logo use, color palette).

Review scheduled posts for typos, formatting errors, and brand alignment before publishing.

Google Business Profile Specific Duties Publish regular updates, photos, and event posts to keep the profile active.

Administrative Tasks Maintain an organized library of past posts, assets, and captions.

Document processes and post guidelines for internal use and future training.

Prepare content approval drafts when necessary.

We can possibly use Hootsuite or other apps if needed to manage posts.

Ideal qualities for this role:

Strong writing skills and creativity.

Solid understanding of major social platforms and their audiences.

Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop Tools, or any other softwares for Image/Video Editing

Basic design/video editing knowledge.

Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
