
Overview
Citibank, N.A. is seeking a Business Analytics Senior Analyst for its Miami, Florida location. The role supports the development of marketing strategies for deposit, small business, and mortgage products through channel testing, customer segmentation, and performance assessment. The Analyst builds analytical and segmentation tools to drive profitable lending and deposit balances across owned sites, display, paid and natural search, affiliates, and social media. The position may be telecommuting/hybrid within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Responsibilities
Support development of marketing strategies for deposit, small business, and mortgage products through channel testing programs, customer segmentation, and performance assessment.
Build analytical and segmentation tools to support the Retail Bank in driving profitable lending and deposit balances through multiple channels.
Target applicability of program across channels including owned sites, display, paid and natural search, affiliates, and social media.
Perform numerical and quantitative analysis to demonstrate the effectiveness of testing program and to design modules for tracking.
Apply statistical methodologies and numerical methods across varied sources of external and internal data to conduct large and complex analysis.
Participate in the implementation of analytical and statistical models in live operating environments within the organization.
Analyze and interpret quantitative and financial data to estimate performance, conduct targeting strategies, and forecast economic valuation for internal customers and prospects.
Perform in‑depth validation and testing of programs to ensure adequacy and reformulate tracking as necessary.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Financial Modeling, Mathematics, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or related position involving data processing tool building to enhance business strategies and operational efficiency.
Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience.
Full span of experience must include advanced analytical techniques, powerful management tools, statistical methods, Python, PySpark, SAS, hypothesis development, quality controls, customer value profiling, data visualization, forecasting, cluster analysis, customer lifecycle modeling, and credit risk metrics including Allowance for Loan and Lease Losses, Loan Loss Reserves and Net Credit Losses.
