This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.
Responsibilities
Social media graphics
Educational materials (slide decks, PDFs, workshop content)
Campaign visuals and branding elements
Layouts for reports or impact statements
Qualifications
Portfolio of past work, especially in nonprofit, advocacy, or educational spaces
Collaborative, open to feedback, and thoughtful about how visuals communicate across cultures and contexts
Ability to work with brand colors, fonts, and style references; comfortable receiving clear briefs
Experience with Canva or Figma is preferred

Team and workflow You’ll be supported by our brand strategist and communications team. We already have brand colors, fonts, and style references. You’ll receive clear briefs for each assignment and be looped into our shared design folder on Canva or Figma (based on your tools). We work with kindness, clarity, and good communication and we’re excited to bring on someone who enjoys being part of a creative, globally-minded team.
