Orion is partnering with an asset-based logistics organization providing tailored transportation solutions in drayage, FTL, LTL, and warehousing. This Edison NJ provider has executed dependable, customer-centric solutions since the mid 1980's. They continue to expand and are adding an Account Coordinator to support the Account Managers and team. This role is to ensure smooth, efficient execution of Drayage and Intermodal shipments while providing strong customer and carrier communication. If this sounds like you, let's talk!

Responsibilities Operational Execution:
Track all drayage and intermodal shipments; proactively identify delays and communicate updates.
Schedule and manage appointments for container pickups, deliveries and terminal returns.
Ensure compliance with port/rail requirements (free time, demurrage, per diem, terminal cutoffs).
Prepare, manage, and store documentation such as delivery orders, BOLs, invoices, and customs releases.
Book drayage and intermodal loads and coordinate with carriers and rail providers.
Customer & Carrier Communication
Provide timely status updates to customers and internal team members.
Address customer concerns, shipment issues and delays.
Develop working relationships.
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, drayage or Intermodal
Strong communication skills and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask
Problem solving skills.
