As a large national management company, we have a rare opportunity for a Multi‑Site Leasing Professional for our high rise apartment community in downtown Grand Rapids. The site staff wants to find the right fit and personality to be part of their team and you may be it! The Leasing professional is an extremely important and valued position. It is the face of our company and property, often the first point of contact for prospective residents. As a Leasing Professional you to build relationships with prospective residents and show them why they should select our property as their home. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in sales and to provide a positive customer experience. Due to our excellent reputation our company is growing quickly, and we are looking for individuals who will be ready to move up into Mentoring, Assistant Property Manager and Property Manager Positions. We will pay up to $20/hr. plus outstanding commissions on new leases and renewals paid monthly.
Responsibilities
Gain an understanding of potential resident needs and provide information as to which of our apartments best fit those needs.
Check curb appeal and apartments each morning to ensure we are ready to tour and demonstrate our product offerings to ensure a positive customer experience.
Follow-up on prospect internet and phone leads to try to set appointments
Tour and close the prospect
Process applications, preparation of lease packages & renewals
Conduct move-in orientation and ensure all move-in requirements are met to ensure a positive customer experience.
Marketing and Social Media management for the community

Qualifications
Previous sales and customer service experience is required; experience within the apartment industry is required
Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and have a high level professionalism
Ability to quickly develop rapport with prospective residents
Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a team setting
Previous knowledge of Yardi property management software is preferred.
Weekend work required
