The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Guide marketing and business efforts for the electrical construction and industrial low voltage segment.
Establish a cohesive process for collecting, synthesizing, and sharing market insights to support strategic decisions and the new product commercialization process.
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to create and activate global segment plans to increase relevance and unit share, including creating marketing and training campaigns.
Develop and lead programs that strengthen global relevance, leadership, and growth in low-voltage portfolios, including the electrical and general industrial channels and eCommerce way to market.
Additional Responsibilities (as applicable)
Lead by identifying customer pain points and translating them into new products or marketing ideas.
Implement activation of the low voltage playbook into under-penetrated areas/countries leveraging the value proposition built for sustainable growth.
Determine customer requirements for low voltage product and application content for website, channel sales reps training programs, trade shows/events, social media, eCommerce/product selectors AI platforms. Provide customer requirements for low voltage product packaging enhancements.
Support and guide the global electrical and general industrial channel teams, including eCommerce and Where To Buy teams. Identify cross-sell opportunities from analytics and develop action plans; identify digital shelf product offerings with portfolio teams and ensure data/content is available to syndicate with channel partners.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Ten (10) years of combined experience in New Product Commercialization, Marketing, Sales, and/or Business in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Five (5) years of experience in global marketing or business management in electrical or industrial markets, specifically in channel, MRO, or low voltage product areas.
Five (5) years experience identifying and understanding customer pain points and translating into new marketing ideas
Preferred
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Strategy preferred
Consumer, omnichannel, digital and/or eCommerce experience
Language proficiency due to global role is beneficial
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Work Location, Travel and Relocation
Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Austin, TX
Travel: May include up to 40% domestic/international
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

The compensation range in the US is described in company postings and the specific offer may vary based on factors including knowledge, training, skills, location and experience. Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $188,251 - $230,084, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, etc.).
