As eLoop continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated, early-career Business Development Representative to help expand our customer base and introduce new organizations to the value of a best-in-class ITAD partner.
Role Overview The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a revenue-generating role focused on outbound prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline development, and deal closure. This is an ideal opportunity for a driven, “hungry” sales professional who wants to build a career in B2B sales within a specialized, mission-critical industry. The BDR will work closely with eLoop’s sales and account management leadership on a frequent basis.
The BDR will be on the front lines of eLoop’s growth, engaging IT, security, facilities, and procurement leaders to uncover needs related to electronics recycling, data destruction, asset recovery, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and prospect new business opportunities through outbound calling, email, LinkedIn, and other sales engagement tools
Qualify inbound and outbound leads and convert them into well-defined sales opportunities
Close deals independently wherever possible. For very large and/or complex opportunities, engage eLoop sales leadership assist in deal closure.
Educate prospective customers on eLoop’s electronics recycling and ITAD services, including data security, chain of custody, regulatory compliance, and sustainability benefits
Engage with key buyer personas such as CIOs, CISOs, IT Directors, Facilities Managers, and Procurement leaders
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of activity, leads, opportunities, and bookings in CRM systems
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging, targeting, and outreach strategies
Stay informed on industry trends related to IT asset lifecycle management, data privacy, environmental regulations, and ESG initiatives
Consistently meet or exceed activity, pipeline, opportunity-generation, and bookings/revenue targets
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
1–3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role (B2B preferred)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfort with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and objection handling
Highly motivated, coachable, and eager to build a career in professional B2B sales
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to learn and articulate technical and compliance-driven services
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales productivity tools (or ability to learn quickly)
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in electronics recycling, ITAD, business services, logistics, or B2B services
Exposure to selling into IT, security, facilities, or operations teams
Familiarity with concepts such as data destruction, asset tracking, sustainability, or regulatory compliance
Pittsburgh, PA–based candidates strongly preferred
What We Offer
Uncapped commissions
Compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $100,000 per year, with $100,000 representing on-target earnings (base salary plus commission).
